Out of nowhere storms started popping up all over Oklahoma. We got not just a little sprinkle or two but an all out downpour! We were so excited we stood on the porch just to watch...until the wind started picking up! We were so thankful for the rain that lasted at least an hour, but the wind was so severe that many power lines snapped and many of us lost power! We decided to go out for ice cream since the house was getting so hot. We quickly realized many others, including restaurants and other businesses were out of power too. We were so happy to come home to a house with restored power, but many other Oklahomans are still without. I'm praying the issue gets resolved soon! 
We also had a great day playing with cousins yesterday. I think a water hydrant was being checked because water was flowing down our street like crazy. Nothing like water to keep a couple of two year olds entertained.
