Today is August 1st, which means (hopefully) in 3 more months we will be in St. Vincent picking up our baby girl! I was just having a conversation with my sister-in-law yesterday about how 3 months can seem so long when I think about how much Baby E will grow and change in that amount of time. 3 months until I can finally kiss her little cheeks and see her smile in person?! Whew... that's tough! Then I think about having ONLY 3 months to get E's nursery prepared, teach my 2 year old to stay in bed with his brother so he can vacate the nursery and having only 3 months to get paperwork finalized, travel plans made and to baby proof the house for what I expect will be a very active baby girl! The last video we saw of her she was kicking her little legs so fast!

Not only am I excited to meet our baby girl, but I can't wait to meet and hug the woman that has been caring for her the whole time and see the islands that make up St. Vincent and the Grenadines.  The beautiful thing about SVG is that unlike Congo, we will be able to safely take our whole family back to visit.  We know that St. Vincent will forever be a big part of our lives and hope to make many visits in the future. I want Baby E to know more about her country than what she can see in books and on a map. We are so, so blessed by the way God has miraculously brought sweet Baby E into our lives!
