I'm reminded of when we first began the adoption process how anxious I got when I knew it was time for the mail to be delivered. I could hear that mail truck a mile away! Sounds silly, but when you're trying to form some kind of timeline (Ha!) and your life revolves around the paper chase, it's hard not to be consumed. So here we are again. My name is Lindsay...and I stalk my mailbox. I try to wait until the mailman drives one house down so I don't seem as excited as I am to see if the one document we need has come. One little document! It's all we need to complete our updated home study for Congo and to complete our Saint Vincent home study, in order to update our fingerprints with USCIS, in order to get our babies home!

Speaking of babies...Baby Girl E in St. Vincent is doing very well. We've seen her on video via Skype several times. Her caretaker tells us what a good baby she is. She eats well, sleeps well and is a happy girl. She goes to the doctor to get check ups and vaccines. It warms my heart to get all the updates about our baby girl. We can't wait to see her and bring her home soon!
